Restorative Justice Refresher Training

Saturday, October 13, 2018
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Location: TBD

As a volunteer for the Franklin County Juvenile Court's Restorative Justice Circles program, you are required to attend a refresher training each year following your initial training.

Community Restorative Circles are part of the Court's Restorative Justice program, which was created to address and prevent delinquent behavior by implementing the principles and practices of Restorative Justice through community recommended interventions that promote youth accountability and responsibility. The program is a community based, Court operated diversion option designed to provide an alternative response from the juvenile justice system for first-time, misdemeanor offenders. Community Restorative Circles act as an arm of the Court, bringing together the juvenile offender and his/her parent(s), the victim (when applicable), and members of the community.
